The who and the blog

by

In the field of German language and grammar, I am through my time at school but sometimes a little pedantic. Since it fits naturally, that can currently be found some articles that revolve around the correct item to "blog".

Hot off the front, I think it must be "the blog" but the discussion really does not matter.

Apparently there are polls, surveys or statistics, just the statement that for the majority of Germans, "the blog" means. The fact that Twitter can (in the sense of individuals assembled there) and of course can not stand the blog so.

Fixmbr in persona Christian Sieckendiek moves about on (Fixmbr article now deleted, only to Google + ), but that one had to ask the opinion of those who have first been here in this website accept, respect and use the "blog". Then comes the former Felix Schwenzel feet and looks like me, the appointment of "we were here first" little justification as viable argument.
High winds also understands the world and no longer feels it to pose as fanaticism, as the old worn-out one.

I feel this bickering about the article even more embarrassing. At the same time I also think that the development of a language should not be run by the user habit. Of course it does this in every case to a certain extent still, just think of the many dialects of language. That does not mean you should make basic things in a language question, just because suddenly many speak the language differently. Why should they suddenly say, eg "the house" just because it made everywhere.
The blog has, in my opinion a very traceable origin of the "weblog", so a web-log. Of course it's not every word so that newly comes into the German language. To the example of Max winds pick up: App. The buzzword around iPhone and Android. App is for me more of application than of program. Therefore for me the unambiguous assignment to the "app" instead of "the app". Because there app for only the unique origin of the "Application" is (it is after all an acronym) and the assignment to the German application is clearly not in my opinion, because I can not even understand that one is "the app" wants to say, even if I feel it is cruel.

For me, however, that you must follow basic rules in order not to lose the core of a language. For example, in the context of specific elements to each other. Thus, "the / the blog," the sum of posts or articles and not a single article in a blog, how it uses Androidpit unfortunately very vehemently.

To come back to school: I still remember how I was "tortured" for a time from a friend really, to use the word "as" in the event of a settlement and not the word "like". Today I would rather not do wrong and I'm glad too :) Retrieved from "the same" and "the same" start, I at this point not to.

You should forget it with the pedantry in the field of language that is not necessarily about driving, but also the core of a language is not the same.

And finally: I say the longer this issue in mind and think about the articles on blog, the more often I hear myself, "the blog". Again you can see what makes habituation. Meh.
