Egypt and Tunisia - the impact on Saudi Arabia?

by Andi

Finally, we were often asked how it would behave as in Saudi, if you look at Tunisia and Egypt now mainly looking at. I think this there is no clear answer.

When asked about expats who have been here a few years (10 and up), say the most that they make no thoughts were. And do not go out like that it can be expected in Saudi Arabia to similar scenes, as currently seen in Egypt and Tunisia were previously shown in. The reason given is usually called, that the Saudis - that the real locals here and not Pakistanis, Indians, etc. - not bad, let alone that they would have to suffer hunger and poverty. The same would probably be the trigger in Tunisia and Egypt have been.

That may well be. But I think that it is not a factor of frustration may be disregarded. (Accounting for about 40% of the population) among the youth there should be such as unemployment of up to 30%. Of course not, I know really, what is the frustration factor within the local youth is real, but I read my Arabs revolution effects on Saudis through, I feel bound to the utter silence of the people who have more than a few years are here for me personally to question.

I do not think enough to eat and no poverty, sufficient in today's world a people like the Saudis, especially the younger ones, "to silence". Currently, there is calm and no one has the impression that the Umwürfe in Tunisia, or the ongoing demonstrations and riots in Egypt, have any effect here in Saudi Arabia, but whether the short, medium and long term that way, I am me anything but safe ...
