Webmontag Karlsruhe at Game Forge

by Andi

After our first visit to a blogger meeting at the weekend, was yesterday for me directly to the nearest first time and although I wanted to take this opportunity once all the Twitterer from London to meet and have a look at the premises of Gameforge throw it ;)
As offered the Webmontag Karlsruhe, for the time was Gameforge the host.

There were an approximately 30 people and after a round of introductions, there was a short and crisp presentation of Gameforge and their games in the form of a presentation. You could see the source in the field of development instead of marketing ;)
Schwerdtfeger then told us of Stefan tagSOLUTE about QR codes and their uses the current state based on Germany. The Japanese are much further since, for example - there, the QR-codes found around every corner.
As an example he cited the use of QR codes in the election campaign in Karlsruhe, where it was in two cases simply gone off just to the rear (as the target of a URL in QR code, for example, a Flash intro page - very convenient for mobile).

After this presentation, the official part was then already done. Julian Finn spontaneously presented with his Google Wave Invite this very briefly. However, there was not much new to me except that I still do not understand why it is soo worth mentioning that you can see live what the other taps. The gabs, yet it since ancient times in other chat clients / protocols.

It was followed by the targeted Familiarisation Thomas Griesbaum ( @ TenCate ), Markus Lamers ( @ lammy_ka not to forget and Christian Flesher ( cfleschhut @ ). extremely sympathetic and all as they are experienced on Twitter ;) But just in the latter it is funny that I originally gave him a former colleague. Although he is not, however, does not make him unappealing ;)

The next Web Monday I am, so far in time work out, there again :)
