Before one and a half years I had wondered why the phone for quite some time as a mobile payment medium is not acting.
And yesterday was for me a long overdue message including at Heise that the KVV now makes possible for the tram or tickets for the entire network KVV very easy to buy tickets by mobile phone.
That I could not pass up and I was just off the side of the KVV pending.
A few user-specific data such as address and bank account and the next moment I received a text message with a link to unlock access or download of software for mobile phones.
Remarkably, I found that there are on the sides to trigger an SMS, which in turn contains a link. If we choose to call with the phone, the information is stored on the server side which device you are using, which seems in turn to do and not via Ajax directly in the browser window still open. Very intuitive!
Anyway, I now have a small Java-based application on the phone with which I can buy a cash ticket. This I can then display on the phone and show the inspector. The whole thing is not only cash but also paperless!
In the introductory period you can download the first, fifth, tenth, etc. ticket free. So definitely worth a try
